The Managing Director, Mike Chart, served as a Police Officer with the Metropolitan Police for almost ten years, he worked in a number of departments including Criminal Investigation. While serving he received a commendation for bravery. He left the UK to live in South Africa for 8 years where he established a very successful security business.

Mike has over 30 years experience in an industry that is continually changing. His experience includes the design and implementation of CCTV and Access Control systems, as well as integrated systems incorporating the latest in security technology.

He was instrumental in the concept and design of one of the first body worn surveillance systems for Police forces in the UK and also in the design of a sophisticated security system for a Palace in the Middle East which included technologies such as CCTV, Sonar, Radar, underwater fibre optic fencing and AUV’s. He has worked within the ANPR / ALPR markets and has been involved in the design of systems specifically for police forces, as well as systems for the commercial sector including airports and sea ports.

As a new company the most recent installations have included a large Public House and Restaurant in Cornwall with 12 cameras and 2 monitors with a 16 channel DVR for recording all of the CCTV images, and a large commercial premises in Devon with cameras around the perimeter of the building on the outside, with a dedicated area for the control equipment and a network facility linking the head office for remote viewing of the images.

The company is presently working on installations including a large factory premises in Plymouth requiring a CCTV system, A CCTV system for an Aquatic centre near Exeter, an IP camera system into a school in Cornwall.
